5 Workout Songs Every Girl Needs

When I first signed up at the gym in February, I spent my time on the elliptical and treadmill. That's it. I wasn't lifting weights or doing any core workouts, which was fine for the time. I was just focused on "warming up" to the idea of working out around other people + re-learning my limits.

One lesson I learned HELLA fast was that I needed a workout playlist in a bad, bad way. When I started feeling the burn after 15 minutes on the elliptical or was 3 miles into my run and wanting to quit, I was miserable. I needed something to keep me going and boost me up... Fast.

I'm pretty sure I have good taste in music. I mean, I've been told that, anyway. I whipped up a sweet workout playlist and I'm sharing my five favorites - in other words, these are the ones I can't go a workout without listening to!

Crank it up and let's go, shall we?!

Self explanatory. If you read this blog, you NEED to remember that this song is my anthem. I have no idea why I have such a love for it. AY - it's trickayyyyy.

I earn brownie points every time I turn this song on around my mom and dad. Why? Because I know every.single.word. and they think that's pretty cool for their 17-year-old daughter to have SOME taste in music.

People always tell me the "real" version is better, but I strongly disagree. I personally want this song played at my funeral and I want EVERYONE dancing or I'll be round-housing them from Heaven. That's not a joke.

This song is actually the reason Skinny Meg and I were brought together. It's our jam. Highly inappropriate, yes. Don't tell my madre I know every word!

Because really... Is it even possible to go 5 minutes without hearing the word "Bieber" in this country anymore? #thebiebsisruiningourlives

What are your favorite work out jams?!

I honestly thought I was gonna make it through the whole list without any Biebs appearing. Alas, it was not to be. (although...would we really want for him to not be around? let's be honest here...we love some Biebs and 1D. :)
