5 Items Away From Better Hair

1 // Beach Babe Texturizing Spray - I posted a picture on Instagram the other day stating that all I do during the summer is wear my hair naturally. That's wear this amazing product comes in! I let my hair air dry for 15-20 minutes after showering, spray this in, and scrunch. My hair is naturally kinky, so this gives it more of a wavy texture... And it smells like Heaven!

2 // 12 Benefits Instant Healthy Hair Treatment - As many of you know, I was highlighting my hair blonde for about 6 months. It was so, so fun, but it started taking a toll on my hair. By taking a toll, I mean frying. After we dyed it dark, my hair stylist suggested I try this product. My hair feels amazing after a mere week and now I'm pretty sure I'm ready to blonde again... I give this whole dark hair thing 3 months!

3 // Powder'ful Volumizing Powder - My sister uses a volumizing powder by Big Sexy Hair and it's freaking awesome. I've just never been able to bite the bullet and pick up a bottle because it's nearly $20 in stores. One of my co-workers told me that this one is it's closest copy cat at a measly $6! Now that's what I'm talking about! She has amazing hair and she's a rock star for recommending this one. So glad I took her word for it!

4 // Organix Moroccan Argan Oil - Again with the blonde frying my hair deali-o... This stuff smells fantastic and repairs split ends like no tomorrow. I run a tiny bit through my hair right before bed since I shower in the morning! I've looked for it at my Ulta, but it's always out of stock. Target sells it $2 cheaper anyway!

5 // Hana Air Dryer - My number one recommendation? Get. A. Good. Hair. Dryer. I definitely think a combination of highlights + a crappy dryer is what fried my hair so terribly this spring/early summer. This one by Hana is worth every single penny, I swear it. The air pressure is so great that I can keep the heat on cool and my hair still gets dried super fast. What's that mean? Healthy hair + an on time Kenzie!

I love trying new hair products and will give just about anything a shot! What are your favorite must-haves?!

I received a product to review and was asked to share my honest opinion in return. As always, all thoughts here are 100% my own. I love to promote the things I love!

I can't use a hair dryer, my hair is way too thick and it takes way too long to dry. Air dry it is haha.

I have never thought about the quality of my hair dryer affecting my hair...thanks so much for the tip! Looking into that dryer now!

I wear my hair au natural during the summer also. My fave can't live without hair product is spray gel. The one that I had been using by Pantene for the past several years has been discontinued so I have been trying out different kinds and the one that I have found that works best is Herbal Essences Set Me Up Spray Gel. Thank you for more recommendations :)

Yes yes yes to the sea salt spray! That's the one I use and I love it. Although, I must admit that some days it looks better than others... I'm not sure what I do differently, but there must be some sort of magical step that I only do some of the time to get the perfect look!

I bought that Beach Babe stuff randomly about a month ago, but haven't really used it. Maybe twice so far. I thought it smelled like Playdoh! Haha! Definitely works well from what I noticed...without making your hair all sticky and stiff. My hair is like yours, it sounds...it has a little bit of a wave to it, but not enough to CALL it wavy. :)
